I’m ANnie graft!

HI FRIENDS! I’m Annie Graft! I’m 23 years old, from a suburb of Chicago, but moving all over the country due to the fact that I am active duty Air Force. Right now, I live in Columbia, SC, but will be moving to San Antonio shortly! But, I am most passionate about health, fitness, and personal growth. I’m a strong advocate for getting ~uncomfy~ in every way possible, as long as you live!

Fit Life Fit Me is so much more than a catchy Instagram handle. My mission is to stand for more than just fitness and crazy workouts. Life is about so much more than abs, y’all! I want YOU to find what sets your heart on fire…and pursue that! Chase those dreams, girl! Follow your heart, ditch the excuses, and ignore the haters! Your life is in YOUR hands, and if you wait for the “right time” to do those things…you’ll be waiting FOREVER. So get up and get after it! I know you were meant for big things. I want you to remember that when you hear the phrase “Fit Life Fit Me”

Before I found a true passion for fitness, I was a college gymnast. Gymnastics was a massive part of my life for 20 years. I went to the Air Force Academy and ended up tearing my ACL, MCL, PCL, and meniscus and undergoing 7 back to back surgeries my freshman year. I got back to competing my sophomore year, but decided my body had had enough at that point. I decided to “retire” from my gymnastics career my junior year in college, and continued to pursue fitness for myself.

In leaving gymnastics, I found a side to fitness that I never really knew existed. I found confidence and strength that I hadn’t yet tapped into. I dabbled with Cross Fit for a year, competing on the Air Force Academy team, but decided to pursue bodybuilding instead. I attempted to prep for my first NPC Bikini competition and utterly failed (YEP).

I didn’t take a second whack at it until 2018 when I competed in my first NPC season, which ended up taking 1st overall at the Georgia State Championships. National stage, here I come, y’all!

Sitting here writing this, I realize that none of these things define me. Yes, the ups and downs have helped form the human I am today. Through failing and succeeding, I have learned so many life lessons in the last few years. I believe that once we DECIDE to get out of our comfort zones, and embrace the life we only DREAMED of living, will we find our true passions. I have discovered found my passion for helping others become the BEST versions of themselves, through fitness, health, and personal growth.

This Fit Life Fit Me community has been one of the biggest blessings in my life, and I couldn’t be more thankful and blessed to be where I am today.
